Though I haven't been well enough to play live for a long time, I still love writing songs. This is a collection of old recordings, songs that never made it on to an E.P, songs that I meant to rerecord but never got round to, and some voice notes lifted straight off my phone. Some of these songs were written so long ago, it feels strange that they're finally seeing the light of day.

All the money raised after Bandcamp and PayPal fees will go to the Hearing Voices Network UK. HVN UK are a small volunteer led charity that raise awareness and challenge negative stereotypes, stigma and discrimination around voice hearing. They help create spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds to talk freely about hearing voices, seeing visions, or having other unusual perceptions.

As a person who experiences long term delusions, often called psychosis, the work HVN UK is doing is really important to me. There are so many unhelpful, damaging representations about psychosis in films and the media. It’s painful and heart-breaking to be misrepresented, marginalised, and portrayed as violent or scary. People who experience psychosis are statistically more likely to be the victims of violence than to perpetrate it. The work of organisations like the Hearing Voices Network is vital if we’re going to challenge stigma and discrimination and create a society where people like me can share our experiences without feeling ashamed or fearful of repercussions.
